Level III+ body armor provides protection against certain types of ammunition, such as the 7.62 x 51 mm Nato, 7.62 x 39 mm MSC, and SS 5.56 x 45 mm M193 rounds. These armors are appropriate for military and law enforcement professionals who encounter such threats in the field.
At Hard Shell, Level III+ body armor plates are available in 1.8 kg, 2 kg, and 2.2 kg weight options. Users can customize these weight options to meet their unique operational needs and preferences.
Level III+ and Level IV body armor can differ based on certain requirements. Level IV is the best at repelling larger caliber threats that can penetrate armor, while Level III+ provides improved protection against some high-velocity rifle bullets.
